For those who enjoy “The Maple Leaf Hangout” program, we
pulled together Episode 24 on
Saturday. With the Leafs in action Sunday afternoon against the Washington
Capitals, we invited one of the individuals behind the "Russian Machine Never Stops” web site to help preview the
matchup.
A few weeks ago it looked like the Caps could be a
first-round playoff matchup for the blue and white. Right now, Washington needs to make a run to
ensure they will make the spring dance.
We all know things can change quickly—the Leafs look to be
home and cooled out when it comes to the playoffs (and they should be), but
with 14 games left in the regular season there’s a lot of hockey still to be
played.

ReplyDeleteLoved the episode. I really would have enjoyed more of them throughout the year, maybe pass along my disappointment to Declan and the guys at MLHS.
It does seem that some of the things going on in Washington, are similar to the things in Leafworld. I always wonder why some teams with talent, and some players as well, never seem to find the success that others of comparable ability do. Lots of ideas about why I suppose, just not sure that there is a definitive answer as to why. Guess if there was and I had it, I would be a much more wealthy individual.
